Reviewers will score all eligible submissions according to the following criteria:
- IMPACT (30 points): How large of an impact could this technology have on controlling energy risks in the workplace: number of injuries/fatalities prevented, reduction in lost work hours, etc.?
- EVIDENCE (30 points): Does the response provide engaging and compelling evidence of the effectiveness of the proposed technology?
- TEAM (10 points): Does the proposing team have the experience and skills to successfully commercialize the proposed technology?
- INNOVATION (10 points): Does the proposed technology include any novel performance or effectiveness compared to alternatives?
- QUALITY (10 points): Does the response clearly present relevant information about the proposed technology?
- MATURITY (10 points): Will the proposed technology be ready for pilot-scale evaluation by early 2027?
Additional response guidance:
- Respondents should provide direct or indirect evidence of reduction to hazardous energy risks. Both are acceptable to support claims of efficacy.
- Potential evidence includes results of pilot-scale deployments, third party evaluations, academic research, commercial implementations, user feedback, etc.
- Respondents should be able to indicate at least one specific industry or occupation which would likely benefit from the deployment of the proposed technology.
- Ideally, respondent will have identified a company with whom to partner with for field trials. However, respondents are not required to have a pre-existing collaboration with that potential partner at the time of submission.
